The day after Christmas here in NYC, it snowed about 20 inches-- the storm started coming down at about 11 o'clock Sunday morning, and continuing on into the night. However, today you can't quite tell just how much it really snowed, as the turbulent wind continues to reshape the accumulations into drifts--creating different slopes and hills every so often.
The day after the big snow storm of 2010, Central Park turned into a winter wonderland: The kids were everywhere sledding away, some snowboarding and a few with skis. At moments the green jewel of the city looked as though it had been transformed into a ski resort somewhere up in the mountains. Have a watch at the footage we took below, to get a taste of the scenery in and around the park.
