Influencers is a short online documentary series about how to brand ones work. The film attempts to go across multiple creative industries to try to focus-in- on-the-minds of those who are particularly involved in the design, advertising, music, fashion, and entertainment fields--to showcase their take on the art of marketing. In fact, the short films are done by a branding agency: R+I Creative. Although images of well-known creative pioneers are flashed sporadically in the footage, none of these figures, such as Steve Jobs and Karl Lagerfeld are actually featured in the films. It is unclear weather or not the subjects that appear in the short films are their clients. In this case, this would be a marketing ploy done in documentary form. Have a watch at the full version of the introduction episode--released this week--and decide for yourself.
