CONFLUX FESTIVAL 2010


This weekend marks the 7th annual Conflux Festival.  Conflux is a festival that defines itself as a celebratory gathering of different types of artists--exploring and experimenting with the idea of psychogeography.  A term coined by French Writer Guy Debord back in 1955: the psychological experience of the pedestrian when exposed to the stimulants that the urban jungle has to offer.

So if you're a curious pedestrian looking for something interesting to do in "The City," this weekend, check out this event.  There will be a Keynote Address Friday evening followed by a kickoff party, as well as a long lists of events--including Public-space Art and Foursquare on Saturday afternoon, led by Foursquare Founder, Dennis Crowley.  See full schedule below:
