KEIICHI MATSUDA: AN ALTERNATIVE REALITY OF NEW MEDIA OVER-STIMULATION

Keiichi Matsuda has been getting a lot of attention as of late about his recent 3D videos:  They highlight what an alternative reality would look like, if technology developments continued to push forth a society that functions under an overstimulated new media pallet.  He uses the concept of  overloading one's personal space with a multitude of ads, even when one is walking down the street for example or even just trying to make a cup of tea.

Have a watch at his most recent videos (below after the jump), and be prepared to see a world that no longer employs computer hardware-- replacing it rather with software devices geared to populate ones public as well as private scope.

Keiichi Matsuda received his Masters in Architecture from UCL.  He currently works as a freelance designer and film maker.  He's won awards for his work, which he describes as  striving to, "examine the implications of emerging technologies for human perception that built environments that focus on the integration of media into everyday life."
