For fashion lovers dreading the departure of summer and the impending arrival of fall, here's a small but impressive consolation prize that awaits you: Lanvin for H&M. Amazing Artistic Director Alber Elbaz for Lanvin joins the company of Karl Lagerfeld, Stella MCcartney, and Comme de Garcons--just a short list of fashion houses who have participated in the making luxury style accessible to highly affordable fashion.
Elbaz does want to make a clear distinction however, that Lanvin isn't selling out to the mass market, rather that H&M is going luxury. Have a watch at the designer's testament himself (below) to this very exciting collaboration indeed (after the jump).
