Woody Allen and Film Cast at the Cannes Film Festival
Woody Allen's new film: "You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger," will be out early this fall on September 22nd in the US. Allen known to round up a usual impressive group of star suspects, does not fail to deliver this time around. The cast includes: Naomi Watts, Antonio Banderas, Gemma Jones, Anthony Hopkins, and Josh Brolin. It's been said that Nicole Kidman was originally offered the part of Sally played by Naomi Watts, but conflicts of schedule did now allow. Allen, who's claimed in the recent years that filming has become too expensive in the States, now films solely in Europe, mainly in London, England, where this movie was filmed as well. The movie has already received mixed reviews--from the one of the best of his latest, to being pinned as part of his has been works from a once brilliant writer/director of our time. The movie does in fact hold an ongoing theme in Allen's collection of films: the intricacies of relationships and betrayal. Hmm, we wonder where he gets his reoccurring inspiration from...
