AN OLDIE BUT GOODIE: RICHARD BRANSON STORIES OF SUCCESS & NEAR DEATH

In 2007, Richard Branson went on TED to share his tell-tale story of his infamous rise to global success--from selling his record company to starting his airline: Virgin, and onto a multitude of Virgin products that we've never even heard of, such as Virgin Brides and Virgin Condoms.  Although some of the Virgin concepts have flopped, Virgin airlines and the Virgin brand as a whole, has risen to a net worth of about 3.9 billion dollars with  about 35,000 employees under Branson's belt.  Not too bad for a high school drop out, and who's also been to prison a couple of times right?

Just goes to show: If you have an interminable entrepreneurial spirit and if you're one of the rare ones who might believe that being successful in business doesn't have to be synonymous with being an opportunist shark, you might also one day be crowned a Sir or a Madam who can send people to space.  Have a watch below and perhaps you'll be inspired to start your own empire.
