SEASON TWO OF THE RACHEL ZOE PROJECT

There are three major disaster factors that Rachel Zoe is facing this season, the recession, dressing celebrities for award ceremonies, and of course her tantrum-throwing-right-hand-woman, Taylor. Well I hope she's got something else to pull out of her couture bag for season two. Otherwise "I'll Die." These themes just sound a bit mundane since they're way too reminiscent of last season, except for the non-recession-proof-styling-dilemma. It will be interesting to see how the new economic landscape has affected the Rachel Zoe business. Other than that, I'm not sure about you, but I want to see something avant-garde coming down the Rachel Zoe runway.

There was one sensational moment in the first episode of the Rachel Zoe Project however--it's when Karl Lagerfeld sent Zoe a personal hand written fax by the fashion genius himself. He congratulated her on doing a good fitting for Cameron Diaz, (who wore one of his Chanel coutures to the Golden Globes). The stylist icon actually had the audacity to ask the Chanel guru to alter one of his designs for fear that the American public won't be able to handle the original silhouette of his dress, which was most likely true, but can you imagine. Who asks Karl Lagerfeld to adjust his designs for the masses? I guess we shan't underestimate the power of Miss Rachel Zoe. Needless to say I died watching her pull that off.
