If you're like me and you crave a foreign film fix injected into your system more often than not, then like me, you're also probably a big admirer of a Mr. Pedro Almodovar. Just the other night my Almodovar burning was ignited impetuously after having realized, "Wait a minute, there hasn't been an Almodovar production for quite some time now!?" The last movie was Volver starring Penelope Cruz, in which case my film pallet was left unimpressed compared to the previous well convoluted plots he oftentimes craftily unfolded in front of our very eyes.

So I did a bit of investigating, and found that THERE IS A NEWLY RELEASED ALMODOVAR! Se llama, Los Abrazos Rotos, (meaning Broken Embraces) yet again starring Penelope Cruz. See the trailer below. I won't provide the synopsis, only because for me I hate to know too much of the plot prior to watching the movie; it defeats the purpose of suspense and destroys the audience's view of story development. The movie was already released in Spain all the way back in March. But alas, will not be out in selected theaters here in the States until this November. Be that as it may, be sure to check out my film review once it comes out.
